These Terms govern your use of ZJELL Models (zjellmodels.com), a portfolio-publishing and booking-enquiry website operated under the ZJELL brand. The website is published by ZJELL Limited, Hong Kong (“ZJELL”, “we”). By registering or using the website you agree to these Terms.
1. What ZJELL Models is — and is not
ZJELL Models displays model portfolios and forwards booking enquiries. During the launch phase the service is free: we charge no registration fee, subscription, commission or booking fee to models or clients. We do not process payments, do not issue invoices for bookings and are not a party to any agreement between a client and a model. A booking request submitted on the website is an enquiry only; it does not create a booking, and any engagement, fee, usage right or payment is agreed directly between the client and the model (or the model’s agency) outside the website.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 to hold an account. Models under 18 may be represented only through a guardian account opened and controlled by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the minor’s behalf. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done through your account. One account per person; one portfolio per model.
3. Portfolios and visibility
Every portfolio is reviewed by ZJELL before it is published and may be declined, edited for format, or removed at any time. You choose whether your portfolio is Public (visible to everyone and to search engines) or Private (visible only to registered clients that ZJELL has vetted, to you and to ZJELL administrators). You can change this setting at any time; the change takes effect immediately on the website. A private portfolio is excluded from directories, search results, sitemaps, feeds and link previews, but an image or video file that someone has already obtained a direct link to may remain reachable by that link. Do not upload material you would not be willing to have seen.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos and text you upload. You grant ZJELL a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, resize, cache and display that content on ZJELL Models and in ZJELL’s own promotion of the website, for as long as your portfolio is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for caching. This licence does not give any client the right to use your images; client usage is agreed separately in the booking. You confirm that you own or are authorised to use everything you upload, that it depicts you (or the minor you represent), and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. No nude or sexually explicit content is permitted.
5. Clients
Client accounts are for companies, agencies, production houses and professionals with a genuine casting purpose. ZJELL verifies clients before releasing any model’s contact details or granting access to private portfolios, and may decline or revoke client access without giving reasons. Clients must not contact minors directly, must respect the model’s terms and applicable law on working conditions, and must not scrape, download or reuse portfolio content beyond viewing it on the website.
6. Verification and the Verified badge
The Verified badge is issued after an identity check by live video call. Identity documents are viewed during the call and are not stored on the website. Verification confirms identity only; it is not a guarantee of any other fact.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Uploading content you do not own or that infringes rights, or content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory or misleading
- Misrepresenting your identity, age, measurements, experience or availability
- Contacting a minor other than through the guardian account and the ZJELL desk
- Harvesting data, automated access, or reusing portfolio content off the website
- Using the website to solicit anything other than modelling, casting and production work
8. Grievances and takedown
To report content, request removal of your own portfolio, or raise any complaint, email cs@zjell.com or message the ZJELL desk on WhatsApp. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days; content that is unlawful or that depicts a person who has withdrawn consent is removed promptly on request. This is ZJELL’s grievance channel for the purposes of the Indian Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules and equivalent rules elsewhere.
9. Liability
The website is provided as is, free of charge. ZJELL does not guarantee that any enquiry results in work, that any client or model will perform, or that the website will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZJELL is not liable for any loss arising from a booking, engagement, payment or dispute between a client and a model, or from the use of content by anyone who obtained it from the website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms, and we will give notice on the website before any change that introduces fees. You may close your account at any time; we may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. Sections 4, 8 and 9 survive termination.
11. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Nothing in them removes protections you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live. Engagements between clients and models are governed by whatever law those parties agree.
