A traditional modeling agency signs you, represents you exclusively, negotiates your rates and keeps a share of every job. ZJELL Models works differently. It is an online modeling agency platform: a verified directory of model portfolios with a booking-enquiry desk behind it. Models own their portfolios and set their own availability; clients find them by city, category and look; the ZJELL desk vets every client before contact details are shared and follows up each enquiry. The fee for a shoot is agreed between the model and the client, and ZJELL Models takes nothing from it during the current free phase.
That makes it a practical first step for new faces who cannot yet get a meeting with a large agency, a second channel for working models who already have representation, and a quick way for brands to shortlist real, verified talent without an agency mark-up.
How the online modeling agency works
- Register in a few minutes. Create a free account with your email or phone and verify it with a one-time code.
- Build your model portfolio. Add up to 20 photos, your measurements, height, hair and eye colour, home city, the cities you can travel to, your categories (fashion, commercial, e-commerce, ramp, fitness, plus-size, kids with a guardian) and your experience.
- Choose Public or Private. A Public portfolio is visible to everyone, including search engines. A Private portfolio is shown only to logged-in, vetted Registered Clients and the ZJELL team — useful if you are a student, in another profession, or simply prefer discretion.
- ZJELL approval. The desk reviews every new portfolio by hand. Models who complete an ID and live video check receive the Verified badge; IDs are viewed, never stored.
- Receive booking enquiries. A brand or photographer presses Request Booking on your portfolio. The desk confirms the client is genuine, shares the brief with you and introduces you both. You agree the shoot, dates, usage rights and fee directly with the client.

Free modeling agency — what “free” actually means
Searches for a free modeling agency are usually a response to the opposite experience: portfolio fees, registration charges and “grooming packages” demanded before any work appears. On ZJELL Models there is nothing to pay at any stage:

ZJELL Models accepts new faces and experienced models of every height, size and background. There is no agency-style minimum height; brands brief their own requirements and the desk matches to them. Categories currently in demand on the platform:

- The desk vets every client before releasing a model’s contact details.
- Private portfolios never appear in search, sitemaps, social previews or shared links.
