Is it free to create a model portfolio on ZJELL Models?
Yes. Creating and publishing your portfolio is free. ZJELL Models charges no fees and takes no commission, and no payments are made on the website. Any fee for a shoot is agreed between you and the client.
How do I create a model portfolio online?
Create a free account, add your display name, city and category, upload at least three good photos, and choose whether your portfolio is Public or Private. The ZJELL team reviews every portfolio before it goes live, and you can edit it at any time from My Portfolio.
What photos should a fashion model portfolio include?
Start with a clear headshot, a full-length shot, and a side profile in natural light with minimal make-up. Then add your strongest editorial, commercial or runway images. Five to twelve sharp, recent photos that show range work better than many similar ones.
Can I keep my portfolio private?
Yes. Choose Private and your approved portfolio is visible only to clients the ZJELL team has vetted and who are signed in. Private portfolios are kept out of search engines, the public directory and social previews. Choose Public if you want anyone to find you.
Do I need an agency to join?
No. Independent models and agency-represented models can both create a portfolio. If you are represented, check that your agency agreement allows you to list yourself.
Can models under 18 join?
Yes, with a parent or guardian. The guardian holds the account and completes the guardian ID check, and clients cannot message a minor directly.
How do clients contact me?
Clients send a booking enquiry from your portfolio. The ZJELL desk vets the client first and then follows up. Your phone number and email are never shown on your portfolio.
