ZJELL Models gives you a free, professional portfolio that clients across Asia, the Middle East and Africa can search, and a desk that screens every enquiry before it reaches you. ZJELL Models is a free service during its launch phase: no fees are charged to models or clients and no payments are taken on this website.
Step by step
- Create your portfolio — register, complete your profile, upload photos and choose Public or Private. Takes about 20 minutes on a phone.
- Approval — the ZJELL desk reviews your portfolio within 2 working days for photo quality, completeness and accuracy.
- Get found — clients search by city, category, look, height, sizes, languages and availability. Public portfolios also rank on Google.
- Receive enquiries — a client sends a booking request from your portfolio with the shoot type, location, dates and brief. The desk vets the client first.
- Connect and agree — once you accept the enquiry, the desk shares contact details both ways. You agree fee, usage rights and terms directly with the client.
- Shoot — payment is between you and the client, arranged in your own country. ZJELL Models takes no commission during the launch phase.
Keeping your portfolio working
- Update “Available this week” and travel options — availability is a search filter
- Refresh photos every few months; new-face portfolios with recent images get more enquiries
- Keep measurements current — clients shortlist on them
- Apply for the Verified badge once your portfolio is live; verified portfolios appear with a badge and pass the “Verified only” filter
Safety
Every client is checked by the desk before contact details are released. Never share your personal contact details or agree to a shoot outside the enquiry process for a client you have not met through the desk. Models under 18 are represented through a guardian account and cannot be messaged directly. Report any concern to the desk on WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
How long does approval take?
Usually within 2 working days. Incomplete portfolios are returned with a note on what to add.
Can I change from Public to Private later?
Yes, at any time from Manage Portfolio. The change takes effect immediately and cached copies are cleared.
Will ZJELL Models take a commission?
Not during the launch phase. If that changes in future, you will be told in advance and it will apply only to bookings you accept afterwards.
Can I use ZJELL Studio for my photos?
Yes. ZJELL Studio offers portfolio and comp-card shoots arranged through the desk. Ask when you register.
